My windows PC has slowed down
Not a month goes by without a friend or relative asking for advice on what to do about speeding up their Windows PC. Got another one today and decided to blog my response when Facebook would not let me reply in full properly for reasons that still escape me. At least I can now refers others.

Build a new PC day
One of the computers in the family has broken down. Initially it looked like it was just a PSU but it looks like more damage was done when it failed that I first though.
Site upgraded
Just upgraded the site to the latest version of Textpattern. Amongst other things, this is supposed to make blogging using desktop tools easier. I have written this using Windows Live Writer. windows style formatting spell checking off line Fingers crossed.
