My wife is learning physiotherapy (on final year of degree course) and the stories she tells me of people in long term pain suffering side effects from the pain medication or taking the pain makes my blood go cold. Acquired mine on eBay for only a £20 premium. Absolutely delighted with my 32gb model. Seller is very keen on Android but his wife made it very very clear she wanted an iPad 4 (in fact I saw he had bought one on eBay after he listed the nexus). They are selling for much more of a premium so I was lucky.Not sure how warranty support works if purchased second hand. Would saying it was a present make a difference. Solving the ecommerce home delivery problem for online shoppers

I am really glad to have tried out ByBoxUk and will be signing up for the annual plan (less than £1 per week) shortly as it solves a key home delivery problem for me.
The likes of Home Delivery Network (now called Yodel) are very unreliable for home deliveries in my experience, delivering at strange times, being difficult to contact, hard to track, handling goods poorly at times, and certainly reporting delivery attempts that do not seem to fit with my observations.

A sad loss

I attended a funeral yesterday of a good family friend. A mother of five children. She died suddenly a couple of weeks ago aged only 43. Two of her children are university age, the rest are younger. It was heart rendering to see the children at the ceremony. The father was incredibly dignified and presented an amazing eulogy that was enlightening, moving and (in places) funny. Really enjoyed a break in Swansea last week. I have been working in the area for around a year now, but never had much of a chance to explore the area. My wife joined me for the week and we had a good look around.
We also had plenty of time to do some photography. Some places we have simply recced ready for a subsequent photography visit later in the year. Other times we have done some shooting.

I had my hair cut at a barbers today. It was at a new place in town, only been open a week, but I thought I would give it a try. The owner is Turkish but has an English wife and he has been cutting hair for 16 years. Unfortunately, he had a very different understanding of my instructions to that of most barbers I have used in the past, and oddly by hair ended up very similar to how his is styled.
