O2 iPhone 3GS upgrade nasty

Apple have just introduced a new iPhone. I finally got around to buying one of these fairly recently on an 18 month contract (and my wife was so taken with it, we bought an iTouch for her on MY birthday – could not justify another iPhone subscription). I knew when I signed that there was

Free wifi on iTouch with BT FON for BT broadband customers

The iPhone is brilliant but subscriptions are a little steep. The iTouch is pretty much the same device without the phone network connections (or a built in mic) and is just as good to use for most internet related activities provided you can find wifi access, which is pretty common now. The cost of some wifi services can be a bit too much to swallow though on an ad hoc basis (free access being rare). Subscription options are worth exploring. However, if you are a BT Broadband customer, there is a free option available that gives you up to 8 hours Openzone access a month.

Termination of my 3 mobile broadband contract

I have been a mobile broadband user with 3 for 11 months on a 12 month contract so have given them the 30 days notice to terminate the contract as I do not want to continue to pay £25 a month for a service I have never been able to achieve. They could not offer me a better deal.

Joining the iphone world

After year’s of resisting [we are talking Internet years here], I have finally gone ahead and bought an iPhone. This post has been made from it using the iBlogger application. The first version of the iphone was not so great for Europe as whilst very advanced at the usability level it was behind the state

A better email service

I am a happy customer of fastmail.fm as the hoster of my email for many domains. It took me a while to find them, but has made cyber-life a lot easier.
