Changing role

After over 14 months working on a major systems integration project for one client, I am finally coming to the end of my work. Spider spider on the web

Just noticed a rather large web outside the back door. Sadly, my daughters had noticed it the previous day. Some photographer eh! Got my camera out and did my duty.

Browsing the web using Opera

I keep returning to Opera. I try the other browsers for a while but they just do not seem to work as well or as quickly. Shame it is not that well supported by some popular sites. I do think that its support for web standards is well ahead of the others.

A small update has just been released offering some minor bug fixes and speed improvements.

New oil tank

Since we moved into our ex-farmhouse some six or seven years ago, we have worried about the old 2000 litre oil tank hidden away around the back of the house. It was old, rusty, and a bit lop-sided. In short, likely to go at any time. Losing lots of oil is not something to look
