Humanism is the view that we can make sense of the world using reason, experience and shared human values and that we can live good lives without religious or superstitious beliefs. We are not certain there is no God, for that would be an act of faith.

Centre for Alternative Technology
The kids have been away all week at the Centre for Alternative Technology (http://www.cat.org.uk) in Wales with ATE (Active Training & Education, http://www.ate.org.uk, a not-for-profit organisation that takes kids on holiday).
